Okay, let’s get one thing straight. I hate Family Guy. BUT only in its current inception. I USED to like what used to be a good show. I used to love to sneak in the TV room at night and sit down with my second-favorite animated fat-man (my favorite should be obvious), and laugh at the irreverent, sardonic, and nonsensical humor, through which Adult Swim has always been an outlet. Here on The Uppity Floor we would like to discredit some notions that you may have about this blog. We are not simply desiring to replace the attention that we never got from our parents through web hits (though that is always nice). We are simply providing a forum for ideas, thoughts, and the angst that makes teenagers so appealing to the Baby Boomers (I blame Kurt Cobain).
